The Tech Shed provides affordable computers and technical support to pensioners and low-income earners.
Not everyone needs (or can afford!) the very latest computer on the market. The Tech Shed lowers the cost of owning a personal computer, with refurbished computer packages starting as low as $135:
A great computer for social networking, emails, web browsing, multimedia, school homework, and basic graphic design.
Dual core CPU 2.7 GHz or higher, 240GB hard drive (min), DVD burner, 4GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010
A great computer for emails, web browsing, storing pictures, basic multimedia, and school homework.
Dual core CPU 2–2.6 GHz, 160GB hard drive (min), DVD ROM, 3GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010
All packages include keyboard, mouse, flat screen monitor and a 12 month back-to-base warranty (does not include malware infection or misuse of PC).
We accept donations of computers and other hardware—both working and not working—which might otherwise have ended up in landfill. Volunteers from the local community learn valuable and employable skills as they are trained and overseen in the repair and refurbishment of these machines. Great for the community. Great for the environment.
Our range of products and services includes:
- Refurbished computers, displays and accessories
- Computer repair and maintenance
- E-waste recycling (large and small).
The Tech Shed is a member of the Microsoft Registered Refurbishment Program.
